Growing up on Cape Cod, I have come from generations of ocean lovers. From sailing competitively throughout my early years and later picking up a kiteboard in high school, my childhood was spent in a deepening love affair with the water, the wind, and the people lucky enough to call the ocean home.

My first draw to photography at age 15 was to capture the local kiters that I looked up to; their skill, dedication, stoke, and ease in the water is a way of life that most will never be lucky enough to know. Documenting this energy is a feeling nearly as exciting to me as the days I spend on the water myself.

I have spent my career in pursuit of capturing that feeling. From shooting campaigns in Japan to photojournalism stories in Nicaragua for international publications, my camera, pen, and curiosity have led me time and time again to uncharted waters. My goal is to chart them, and to share that feeling in doing so.
